FAQ’s when booking The Wild Love Club

  • Can you see a full gallery?

As another rule I don't give out full galleries as every single wedding gallery is different, based on season, weather, couple vibes, styling and investment. I think it's important folks book me with freedom and trust to create a unique gallery which reflects the energy and the investment across of the day.

What I mean by investment is to trust my process and listen to advice on how to get the most out of the space for creativity, while absolutely living your truth and to fullest selves across the light and night of your special day.

  • Do you work all year round?

I’m sorry to all you beautiful adventurers tying the knot in the colder months, I don’t take on weddings in the Winter as a rule as the conditions are harder I may consider a half day booking or a full day booking with an add of a second shooter to work more quickly in the shorter days and colder conditions. From December to February is the time I generally recharge from the busy season and catch up on all of the lovely blogging and admin side of the business.

  • Should I add a second photographer?

If your focus is your love, your story, your connection throughout your day and if you’re happy to have just one of your mornings captured, you’ll be absolutely grand just having me capture your day. But if you want both of your pre-ceremony morning preparations captured and really want the shenanigans of your guests captured when they not by your side in the day then I wholly recommend booking a second shooter.

I can’t be everywhere unfortunately and my focus will always be you both, I only ever choose photographers to work with me whom are primary and experienced wedding photographers who shoot in a similar way to me and so gels well into your full gallery, their presence adds a rounder experience of your day to your gallery and adds extra images to your package.

    Fully recommend!

  • Does it matter if you haven’t worked at my venue before?

Absolutely not! Is the short and long answer of that. I am intuitive, fully in tune with natural light and the suns positioning, I am able to walk into a location and quickly understand where the best light will be in what season at any time. If I can I will visit a local venue before or arrive earlier to a venue on the day to have a good look around to be inspired and informed for your portraits.

  • Do you offer pre-booking zooms?

I am happy to answer any questions you might have via email while you are going through your pro/con list on the wedding photographers you’ve seen but I am not a creative that sells myself to get bookings, it is the creativity and the energy of my art that I wish to be booked for not for how best I can talk my way into booking you so please let’s connect through trust and creativity, I’ve got lots of lovely testimonials online, please trust the love and celebrations from my past clients too!

  • Do we get to speak before the wedding?

Do we get to speak before the wedding?

Included in all packages is a zoom consultation which we can book in a couple of weeks before your big day to go through how I work with you both and your bridal party and guest list to create a beautiful gallery that reflects your day. We go through your schedule and how that works with the season, sunset times and weather of your date, and we can work out a loose flow of creativity across your day.

  • Do you offer pre-wedding shoots?

I absolutely do and I whole heartedly recommend them! Here’s some words from beautiful people that mean more than what I can tell you of the benefits of a couple shoot!

‘Nicola put us at ease instantly and we chatted the whole time. She suggested a gorgeous location and knew it really well. She tried out lots of different shots of us together but it always felt natural and in general we just had a really fun time!’

‘We had THE best time with Nicola during our couples shoot. As two people who are a bit camera shy, we were initially feeling quite nervous at the thought of being in front of the camera as it’s totally out of our comfort zone. We spent the whole morning laughing, we really cannot thank you enough for making the experience so wonderful and not daunting at all.’

  • Does your edit colour life differently?

My style is a moody and storytelling film like edit, I specialise in using the natural light to its best and so often include some moody shadow work as well as fun time reportage and guided portraits. My colouring is not true to life colouring, with lots of yummy film like grain and reflects the mood or is shot with the art of the work in mind, to evoke feelings, not to only document.

  • How do we book?

Please head over to my connect form and pop all your wedding details in there, that way I can easily respond to you after checking my diary and checking your date, location, venue and vibe will be a great fit. I ask for a standard 25% non refundable booking fee to secure you date will be yours and I send you a digital contract and booking questionnaire to complete and that’s your date finalised, in my diary and then we book in your first zoom about 6 month before your wedding date to get to know each other if you’d like and your second zoom a week before your wedding date. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to meet in that time when you book a couple shoot too!
